Media Borough approves $670,000 bid for old borough hall

Daily Times has reported that Media Borough Council has approved the sale of the old borough hall at 1 W. State St. The building, at the geographic center of the business district at State and Jackson streets. This beautiful building has been empty for some time. The board chose the offer of Claudio Sandolo, a restaurateur who owns Spasso Italian Grill in Old City, Philadelphia. Sandolo has agreed to some renovations, geared for his operation and to give Borough Council first right of refusal if and when they choose to sell it. looking forward to a new restaurant in Media.
