 Green remodeling is the hottest business opportunity to hit the remodeling {retrofit} market in years according to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) as energy efficiency, environmentally responsible remodeling techniques, materials and strategies are being used by an estimated 65-85% of remodelers. The NAHB estimates that 125 million homes in the US, the vast majority lack energy-efficient features but that the average customer is willing to pay almost $9,000 upfront for better energy efficiency.
